About Me
I'm a Software Engineer with experience building and deploying production systems in the fintech space, where I work across Java microservices, Oracle SQL, and Python automation, managing releases across global environments and keeping systems running reliably at scale. Day to day, I work with languages like JavaScript, Python, and Java, and frameworks like Flask, React, and Spring Boot, along with Oracle DB for database work.
My path here wasn't traditional. I have a background in mechanical engineering, and my first real taste of coding was in a general ed course, Intro to Python. That spark led me down a rabbit hole of YouTube tutorials, though I didn't fully commit until early 2021, when I enrolled in App Academy and dove into a full-time transition into software engineering. It meant long nights of coding and studying, but watching myself grow into an engineer, one problem at a time, made it worth it.
Today, I bring that same curiosity and persistence to every project I take on.
